The A-share market narrowed its gains in the afternoon session. The SSE Composite Index rose 0.18%, closing at 3714.11 points. The CSI 300 Index slightly declined by 0.01%, while the Shenzhen Component Index rose 0.33% and the ChiNext Index gained 0.08%. Shanghai B-shares rose 1.47%, and Shenzhen B-shares increased 0.9%. Military trade and aviation stocks led the gains, while telecommunications and banking sectors were among the worst performers. (wn)
