South Korea's KOSPI index rises 1.8%, Japanese stocks up 0.78%
Nikkei 225 index opened at 64925.29 points on Friday morning, up 0.78%. South Korea's KOSPI composite stock price index rose 1.8% to 5653.99 points. SK Hynix and Samsung Electronics, which suffered significant declines on Thursday (15th), both rose over 2%. (yc)
